Ohio Knitting Mills Trunk Show

DWR is hosting an Ohio Knitting Mills trunk show of virgin vintage knitwear—men’s and women’s sweaters, vests, capes, dresses, skirts, and jackets--all produced by the original Cleveland factory between 1947 and 1974. This recently discovered time capsule of perfectly preserved American fashion and industrial craftsmanship is distinctive for its bold colors, inventive patterns, quality materials, innovative techniques and a good dose of a strong Midwestern work ethic. Selections from this unusual collection will be available for purchase. Ohio Knitting Mill president Steven Tatar will be on hand both days to share the intriguing and compelling story of this legacy of American design invention and creativity. This is also the final weekend of our Semiannual Sale. Save hundreds on thousands of items, from floor to ceiling, for inside and out. Light refreshments will be served.
