The Bottega Side Chair (2003) is uniquely constructed with a harmonic sheet steel back that flexes with the user for continuous support. Designers Renzo Fauciglietti and Graziella Bianchi then wrapped this chair in smooth-as-silk stain resistant leather that's both luxurious and low-maintenance. Covering the slender but strong steel frame, the leather is hand-sewn to hug every angle and curve. The seat is lightly padded to encourage leisurely dining. Bottega's combination of suppleness and strength is not always easy to find in fixed seating. A choice of leather colors makes this Side Chair suitable for a variety of settings. In 2007, the Fauciglietti team expanded on the success of this chair with the introduction of an Armchair and Stool. Made in Italy.
